I saw a question asking about travel expenses and saw an answer that they can not be deducted unless you meet specific requirements. one of the requirements I saw was for armed forces reservists such as myself. I drive  180 miles to drill and 180 miles back every month. can i get a deduction or credit for this?

the travel expenses you are referring to are for certain military personnel who change their principal residence.

(moving expenses form 3903)

yours are committing expenses that are not deductible.
