Can I file head of house hold if I’m no longer with the father of my kids but the mortgage and bills are under his name and I’m claiming both kids ?

It depends.  Use the guide below to determine if you qualify for the Head of Household filing status.  If they do no live with you, then the answer is no.

a blood relative needs to have lived with you and you supported him for the last 6 months of 2023
