Yes, mental health is a medical deduction along with the miles to and from. There are lots of medical deductions and I actually like reading Publication 502, Medical and Dental Expenses. However, only medical expenses over 7.5% of your income will go into itemizing. State itemizing is much more common than itemizing on the federal side.
