Can I list my total ER visit & 1-day hospital stay (includes lab fees, doctors, prescription drugs, etc.) under hospital or does it need to be divided by category?

You can list it all under hospital stay. TurboTax adds those categories to help taxpayers get organized and think about where they might have expenses. The total is what the IRS will care about.
