Can I see how and when I paid my tax due from 2022?
I keep receiving a tax due notice and I have paid it. How can I get a copy of the payment receipt?
There is no payment receipt for the taxes paid. Your proof of payment is either your cancelled check or your bank or credit card statement showing the payment, depending on how you selected to pay the taxes owed.
You can view tax payments received by the IRS in your tax account. Go to this IRS website for your tax account - https://www.irs.gov/payments/online-account-for-individuals
