I have no FSA and did not incur any dependent care expense. Because there's an amount in box 10, turbo tax is requiring form 2441 where I have to provide details about who I paid for dependent care.

No, you do not need to include provider info or dependent care expenses if you are not claiming a Dependent Care Credit.

As part of the "Deductions and Credits" interview because there is a box 10 amount you will be asked if your employer provided on site day care?  If you did not use that benefit then select "No".

You will then be asked if you have an FSA for your child care? Answer "No".

Finally you will be asked if wish to claim the Dependent Child Care Credit?  Answer "No".

The Box 10 amount flows to your form 1040 line 1e as taxable income.  You can view that form in the forms mode in desktop versions or using these steps in online versions.

1. Select "Tax Tools" in the left hand menu
2. Select "Tools"
3. Select "View Tax Summary"
4. Select "Preview My 1040" in the left hand menu

If there is an error presenting then you may need to delete the form 2441 in forms mode for desktop versions or using these steps in online versions.

1. Select "Tax Tools" in the left hand menu
2. Select "Tools"
3. Select "Delete a Form"
4. Find the form 2441
5. "Delete"
6. "Confirm Deletion"
