Can I still fund an HSA for 2018 if I only dropped Medicare in 3/2019? Deadline is April 15, 2019 for 2018. I have a HD health care plan, Medicare was unused backup.

You can't fund an HSA for any months in which you had Medicare insurance.

If you are enrolled in Medicare in 2018, you cannot contribute to a HSA even if you had a HDHP and "Medicare is an unused backup".
