Can I still use turbo tax if I am living outside the US? When I start filling in my info I can't proceed without adding a state of residence.

I don't work for a US employer but have to file taxes as I hold a permanent residence card.

Yes, you can still use TurboTax if you are living outside the US.

You would just need to select foreign as your state of residence in the personal info section.

And "foreign" is way down at the bottom of the dropdown list of states, right after Wyoming.
