The daycare made the receipt for tax purposes out to the mother. Can I use this receipt on my taxes even though my name is not on it? No irs support for this, she is not claiming him?
Yes, you can claim those daycare expenses, as long as you claim your grandson as your dependent and you paid the provider (even those his mom dropped off the payments).
