Yes, your out-of-pocket qualified medical expenses may be entered as a possible medical expense deduction.  This would include the deductible that you must meet out-of-pocket for your insurance policy.

 

If your total medical expenses exceed 7.5% of your Adjusted Gross Income and you are itemizing deductions, then your medical expenses will reduce your taxable income.
