Can you claim your 20 year old, who lives with you, but is not a student, as a dependent?

I know there is no child tax credit involved, but do I use the "other dependent" choice?

She is very much a dependent. She has no outside income.

Thank you in advance.

If she lives with you and you provide more than half of her support and she had less than $4,400 in income she is your dependent and you will receive $500 in child tax credit.

Thank you so much. So on Schedule 8812, Part 1, #6, put the number 1, and then #7, you multiply that by $500, which is my credit...is this correct?

When you list her as a dependent TurboTax will complete that form for you.
