child care expenses

for year 2024, my wife and i paid for child care expenses. however, turbo tax won't allow us to enter these expenses. we both had earned income, as identified on our separate W2 forms downloaded in TurboTax. we have $257k of wages, as reported in our W2s. our children were ages 11 and 9 at 12/31/2024.

the 2024 form 2441 has the name and information of our day care school that provided day care for our children in 2023; but it wont allow me to enter the expenses paid for the same thing in 2024.

how do i get help on this issue?

no, but i did figure out how to respond to the turbotax questions, so it then would allow me to enter the costs for each child. it was trickier than their normal process.

i do find it surprising that i can enter more expenses than the amount i attributed to the specific care provider; and it doesn't cause an error upon review.
