I work overseas and I file my tax using foreign earned income exclusion form 2555. would I be getting the $250 check for child tax credit? (FYI I make $60K a year head of household)

and if someone like my case already received the check, should they cash?

You can't claim the Additional Child Tax Credit if you take the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion. If you don't have taxable American income, the Child Tax Credit will also be useless, since it is nonrefundable. So it could be prudent for you to discontinue the advance payments. If you want to do that, go to the Child Tax Credit Update Portal.
