What if you are a non resident alien with 2 young children that are US citizens/dependants and you own property in the US with rental income - what is the correct 1040 to file?
Turbo Tax chose a regular 1040 but the IRS suggests a 1040-NR.
A Nonresident Alien would file a 1040NR.
TurboTax does not have 1040NR or do anything with Nonresident Aliens. I would recommend going to a US tax professional to have your tax returns prepared.
