I am going to buy a 2025 Cadillac Lrig which does qualify for the $7,500 tax credit. However, the dealership I am working from only passes the credit through if I am paying cash or loan. Since I want to lease it, I really won't own the vehicle. Does this negate my abilty to apply/qualify for this credit?
