Hello,

My family is out the country (Mexico) I am legally married in Ecuador, I have one step son and one son.

I support my family with house, food, school, clothes, etc.

My questions is Could I put them as dependents on my tax return?

No, in order to claim someone as a dependent for either the Child Tax Credit or Other Dependent Credit, they must be a US Citizen, US National or US Resident Alien.
