do I add what I paid for  social security part b to my medical expenses deduction

    Go to the Federal section of TurboTax,

    Wages and Income,

    Retirement Plans and Social Security

    Social Security

     

    When you pick that you received a SSA-1099 you fill in the boxes with the same information on your form.  The 3rd box on the list is Medicare B Premiums Deducted From Your Benefit.  Once you put the information in this box it carries to Schedule A as part of your medical expenses.
