im not sure if im supposed to check that I made and tracked nondeductible contributions to my IRA or did not make and track

    It depends.  If you did make non-deductible contributions to your IRA and you answer yes,  TurboTax will ask additional questions to determine any funds that can be withdrawn in the future that are not pre-tax contributions.  

     

    If you answer no, TurboTax will not be able to make that determination when you start distributing IRA funds, unless you enter that information at a later date.
