"Dependent" appears to be defined by making less than $4300 but elsewhere that I provide more than half of their support. Their making $4400 a year is clearly not providing half of support, but seems to violate the first definition. I'm not understanding the apparently nonsensical $4300 limit. If I provide >1/2 of support, is that not therefore a functional definition of "dependent"?
