Question

Disability tax credit and rental income

I rent to my adult child on PWD for below market value. Therefore I do not have to claim rental income, correct? In this case, would I also be able claim the disability tax credit or would that be a red flag? Obviously I don’t want to create any issues. Would it be wiser to have her claim it herself? Please help!

What is "PWD?"   What disability tax credit are you referring to?   There is no federal disability tax credit.   Are you referring to some sort of credit in your state?

I’m in Canada. PWD is disability. Disability tax credit is a credit in Canada.
