I graduated college in spring of 2024, where I was living with my parents. Then I moved to a different state Fall of 2024 where I live with my Fiancé. I have been working full-time since June of 2024, making about $3,060 per month after tax (50k yearly salary). My question is, do I file my own taxes this year by myself or do my parents still get to claim me on their taxes as a dependent? I live in a different state and I have legally changed my address, my W-2 has my new address on it which is different from my parents as well.

You would have to determine whether you provided more than half of your own support for the year. If no, you can be their dependent.

I actually moved out in May but I didn't change my address on my drivers licenses until November. So I don't know if that counts or not.
