Do i need to add info from my 1099-SA form for my HSA to my taxes if the distribution is for qualified medical expenses?

Yes, you do. The 1099-SA gives you the information to enter for your HSA distribution. There will be a code on the 1099-SA to indicate whether the distribution is qualified or for any other purpose.
