Question

Do I need to report 'Foreign Income of Nonresident Alien' from the time of the year I was NOT YET living in the US? Or only for foreign income while I was a nonresident?

I am unsure if I need to report my 'scholarship' income while I was still living abroad for the first part of the year before moving to the US in my state tax return?

    If you are considered a non-resident alien in 2024, you do not need to report your scholarship income either on your federal or state return.
