Question

Do I owe 1.45% Med. Tax and .9% add. Med. Tax on overfunded HSA contribution reported on 1099-SA and entered on 1040-SR Sch. 1, part I line 8e. If yes, how do I report?

TurboTax added amount to federal income tax amount but did not make adjustments for Medicare.   SSA is N/A as maxed out contribution for this tax.

There is currently not a mechanism to collect Social Security and Medicare taxes that would have been assessed on the excess HSA contribution. So there is nothing to report.
