Question

Do I put my current job in the "Your personal information" section, or my job from 2022?

I had a different job in 2022, than I do now. I worked as a Grocery Store clerk in 2022, but I now work as a gas station clerk

The IRS only uses "Occupation" for statistical purposes so you can say anything you want to.  You could just say "clerk" and it would be fine.  Nothing you enter for occupation will affect your refund or tax due.

You can put whatever you want in the ''Occupation'' field.   You can put the job you have now, the one you had last year, or the one you want to have next year - that field doesn't affect anything on your tax return.

Just make sure to enter any and all W-2s from 2022 in the W-2 section.
