Solved

Do I technically own a home if I got married in October and my new husband bought it before we met? Asking for standard deduction. He pays all the bills for the house.

For tax purposes, if you file a joint return, it does not matter who pays the bills or whose name is on the title to the home, as long as one of your names is on it that is all you need.

-------

You may want to, however, have your name added to the title now that you are marred.
