Do the Charity amounts in Box 14 on W-2 count towards Charitable Donations automatically, or do I add them also as I list my charitable contributions?
They didn't show in the list until I manually added. Want credit, but not to count twice.
Box 14 is usually just informational for you. These would be contributions you made from your paycheck but you don't receive a deduction for them. Yes, you can enter them yourself under charitable donations in Deductions and Credits.
