Do TurboTax's in-house Software Engineers, DEvelopers/Programmers monitor this Community to learn of software problems?

Do TurboTax's in-house Software Engineers, Developers/Process Programmers monitor this Community to learn of software problems that need correcting?

 

How are TurboTax's software errors/problems identified and dealt with in a timely manner?   

 

I have firsthand experience with a software processing problem within the Premier product that came to light back in 2019 that clearly still remains in 2024. This is simply inexcusable! 

 

I would l like an answer and explanation rather than being ignored...

    Certain participants in these forums report potential problems to the moderators of these forums who then pass the information on to the TurboTax Product Quality team.  The Product Quality team then decides whether to record and prioritize the report as a problem that needs to be addressed by the software developers.

     

    If one suspects a software bug, they can describe the circumstances in a forum post.  If a forum moderator responds, the moderator might ask for a "Send Tax File to Agent" which transmits the tax file with personally identifiable information obfuscated.

     

    Most problems reported by users end up being a misunderstanding of some sort on the part of the user rather than an actual software bug.  There are also certain things that TurboTax Product Quality identifies as unsupported calculations.

    Turbo tax software has been consistently flawed for years. Intuit sells software that consistently does not work. The occasional customer service representative endorses this. I spend most of my time filling out the forms directly. Junk.

    @vs619  None of us volunteers  have  financial or  otherwise connected to Intuit / TurboTax.    Now  perhaps you can tell me what error are you finding ;  why are you forced to use the forms mode  directly ; which product are you using ; etc.

     

    I am familiar with the windows version of Home & Business and can vouchsafe  for the product.  And definitely will to try out the scenario that you say  " no work", junk etc.   Tell me more
