Yes, the 2018 Ford Fusion hybrid qualifies for a tax credit, but only if you are the original owner.

 

See the Federal Tax Credits for New All-Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles for a list of qualified vehicle.

 

Used vehicles do not qualify for the Plug-In Electric Drive Vehicle Credit at the Federal level.  The original use of the vehicle must commence with the taxpayer.  See the following IRS link  for additional details.
