Does anyone from Illinois ever receive their refund sooner than expected? Even with a child tax credit?

A child tax credit will only delay your federal refund, not your Illinois. However, there is a delay for Illinois state refunds this year due to the new identity theft measures. Please view the Illinois link below for more information.
