Does anyone know how should I answer this question? "Did your wife's HDHP coverage lapse in 2024 due to disability?". My wife is always covered by my plan, never ended.

One thing might be confusing is that my wife doesn't have her own HSA. I had a HDHP family plan and HSA through my employer. The answers I can choose are "Yes, the coverage ended due to disability" and "No, the coverage ended for other reasons". But my wife has always been covered by my family plan, none of the answers apply here.

    Take a closer look at the question on the screen just prior to the one telling you there was a lapse in coverage.

    If both you and your spouse are covered under the same family plan, then the person with the HDHP in their name will indicate they had a family plan.  The other person will indicate they had None because the HDHP was not in their name.
