Question

Does anyone know what I should do when I can not locate my mortgage company on the list for the 1098?

I tried the company name, also tried the website address, with no luck.

Enter Mortgage Interest, Points Paid & Property Tax  under

Federal Taxes (Personal in Home & Business version)

Deductions and Credits

Your Home

Mortgage Interest - Click the Start or Update Button

OR Property Taxes - Click the Start or Update Button

 

Don't enter the bank or broker name and don't try to import it.  It is just as fast and easy to manually enter it.  At the bottom pick -  Change How I enter my Form

Then on the next screen pick I'll Type it in Myself
