I already filed my taxes but I didn't claim the EIC and I fall into the guidelines what do I do next

    If you qualified for EIC it would be added to line 27a of your Form 1040 automatically.

    @Catmeow61 You can file an amended return, if necessary.  However, are you sure that you did not claim the Earned Income Credit?  If you entered all information on the preparation of the return, that credit is usually automatically computed.  In any event, wait until your current is processed so that you will not run into any processing cross ups.  Sometimes, IRS will catch this, if the return is prepared to show that you qualify for the EIC.
