Ellicott city flood. Lost job for a month or so. Got a new one. Any tax breaks?
There aren't any federal or state tax breaks available for those affected by the Ellicott City flooding last year.
Howard County has proposed some property tax credits to owners of residential properties to cover the costs of repairing, restoring or redeveloping their property, however, I cannot see any indication that they were approved.
