Good afternoon I have a question regarding paying for my emt class. I made X amount and paid out of pocket for my EMT course and it took about 20% of my income that I made that year. Am I eligible to get an benefits from it.

Is needed to meet the minimum educational requirements of your present trade or business or
Is part of a program of study that will qualify you for a new trade or business.
