Line 27b, Home Energy Efficient Building credit. I have $0 amount but it won't let me file and it does not let me change it. I did not carryover anything from 2022. I am at a standstill! I don't have any and I am not claiming any energy efficient improvements.

If you started to complete the Home Energy Credit questionnaire, but with no dollar amounts, you may need to delete the form in order to e-file.

To delete a form in TurboTax Online:

Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
In the left menu, select "Tax Tools" and then "Tools".
In the pop-up window Tool Center, select "Delete a form".
Select "Delete" next to "Form 5695" if it appears, and follow the instructions.

Lately, there have been some rejections associated with claiming the Home Energy Credits on Form 5695. If you didn't find Form 5695 in the list of forms to delete, try these steps:

Log in to your TurboTax Online account or open your return on your CD/downloaded version of TurboTax
Go to Federal taxes
Go to Deductions and Credits > Your Home > Home Energy Credits
Revisit the Home Energy Credits section and enter your information
Go back through the Final Review and re-file your return
