Entering interest on mortgage. How much of loan was used for improving/building the home. Do landscaping improvements (trees) count as improvements for this purpose?

We are entering interest on our mortgage and are asked how much of loan was used for buying/improving/building the home. Do landscaping improvements (trees, etc.) count as improvements for this purpose?

Yes, trees are part of the land.
