EV tax credit when trading in a recently new car for another EV

I purchased a vehicle that qualified for the $7500 rebate on Dec 6th.  After a couple weeks I decided that I wanted to upgrade and traded it in on another EV vehicle that qualified for the rebate.  I'm concerned this would make me classified as a "reseller" and disqualify one of the rebates.  I'm not sure if these apply in this specific situation as I didn't sell the vehicle, I traded it in to the dealer.

Any advice here would be welcome, as if I'm not eligible for the 2nd tax credit, I may unwind the deal.
