Filed my 2020 taxes before the changes in the child tax credit and my return has been accepted. Would I need to go back and change or amend my form?

I filed my 2020 taxes a few days before the changes in the child tax credits. My return has been accepted. I did not have income for the 2020 tax year, but filed to receive the missing stimulus payments for my children.  I meet all requirements to receive the child tax credits, so do I go back and change the information I filled, or does the IRS determine eligibility based in the information they receive and automatically give out the credits?

There is nothing you need to do.  This will all be automatic and the IRS has not yet issued guidance on how or when they will distribute funds.
