filing my taxes with medical card

I have been prescribed medical marijuana for fight a on going medical condition i have. can i deduct the cost it costs me to get my prescription from the medical dispensary. i live in florida

    Under current tax law, you cannot deduct the cost of medical marijuana on your federal tax return since it remains illegal under federal law even when it is legally prescribed to you for a medical condition.

     

    It is deductible on some state tax returns.  However, that does not apply in Florida.
