For 2017 I have some transactions for Schedule D and will need Form 1116 (foreign tax credit) since FTC is $450. I INPUT THE NUMBERs MYSELF. Can I use DELUXE?

I have purchased Deluxe for the past 15 years. For 2017 I have some transactions for Schedule D and will need Form 1116 (foreign tax credit) since FTC is $450. I INPUT THE NUMBERs MYSELF and never download data from broker’s website. Can I use DELUXE? If no I will look at other manufactures of tax software

Hi. Yes, all of the CD/Download versions are able to handle Form 1116, Foreign Tax Credit. I am happy that you purchased the CD/Download version as it is better than the online versions and you can view your forms as you complete your returns.
