For charitable contributions on my state return, should I also add them to my Federal return?

If I make a line 35 donation to the Chesapeake Bay Fund on my Maryland state return, do I also need to go back and add it to my list of charitable contributions on the federal form?  It doesn't seem to autopopulate.

If you are making the contribution in the current year (2024) with the filing of your return, you would include them on your federal return next tax season in 2025.

If your contribution was made in 2023, then that would be included in your contributions on the federal return.

Ah, OK.  It did autopopulate from the prior year, but I mistakenly deleted it.  I'll add it back in.  Thanks!
