For child care dependent credit tax break, why are my wife and myself listed as options to select but not my daughter who was born 09/2016 and received child care?

Check and be sure she is listed as a dependent. Go back through her information and make sure everything is answered correctly or it will not pick her up. Both you and your wife must have earned income or one of you could have been a full time student.

To check dependent information:

Click My Info on the left panel. You should be at the page that has all your personal information and your dependent that you entered should be listed click the pencil to edit this information.

****Any child born during the year (2017) qualifies as being in the home all year. I saw that you said your child was born the previous year so that shouldn't be the issue.
