I have bank interest income and taxes paid from a foreign country India. A message is displayed for Form 1099-INT (ICICI Bank-foreign bank) not completed. The following message is displayed at the bottom of the Form 1099-INT:
"Foreign tax Sch A box or Form 1116 copy should be entered for ICICI bank. Return to place where this was entered to indicate the copy number".
I am using Form 1116 and will appreciate if someone let me know how to resolve this issue.
