Form 2106 for a teacher wants Line 6 filled in with something?What does it want?

Yes, it would be a dollar amount, but I think you may want the credit for teacher expenses.

 

 As an alternative you can go to the main menu.

          

 

  1. Select Tax Tools
  2. On the drop-down select Tools
  3. There will be 4 green boxes
  4. Select Topics Search
  5. Type teacher 
  6. Continue through the questions and it will be posted to your return.
