For the tax year 2024. Does the Turbo Tax Premier edition include Form 8308? I have been inputting K-1s for years and sold the investment. I was sent 3 Forms 8308. I was a Limited Partner with no involvement in the operation or management of the real estate partnership.

No, this Form 8308 is not included with the TurboTax personal versions. The Form 8308 is included in the TurboTax Business Edition only.

Partnerships file Form 8308 to report the sale or exchange by a partner of all or part of a partnership interest where any money or other property received in exchange for the interest is attributable to unrealized receivables or inventory items (that is, where there has been a section 751(a) exchange).

Open or continue your return.
Navigate to the investment sales section:
- TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to investment sales. If using this application, make sure it is open
- TurboTax Desktop: Search for investment sales and then select the Jump to link.
  - Or Personal Tab > Continue > I'll choose what I work on > Scroll to Investment Income > Select Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other
Answer Yes to the question Did you sell any of these investments in 2024? (or Okay! to Time to kickoff your investments!).
- If you land on the Investment sales summary or Your investments and savings screen, select Add More Sales or Add investments.
