Form 8911 error prevents federal filing

Intuit advertised an update to federal form 8911. That update was implemented today but an additional form 8911 error is still preventing my filing of federal form 1040. Now t he error says a new fix is due by 2/29/2024. What the heck is happening with federal form 8911? Is this error message accurate or is there some other problem with turbotax?!

The error message is accurate.

The IRS recently clarified changes to Form 8911 Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit. TurboTax is planning to make updates around this by February 29, 2024.

In the meantime, there's a workaround if you installed 1-2 chargers. Select the box, "I moved during 2023 and installed this station at both homes” to continue.

If you installed more than 2 chargers, then you should check back after 2/29/24 to ensure you are eligible to receive this credit.
