Full time uni student outside US, have foreign checking acct. Do i check the Owned or signed on a foreign bank, etc. broker or under Miscellaneous Investment income?

is a simple foreign student checking account considered miscellaneous investment income

Are you a US Citizen? If so, then you would check that you owned a foreign bank account even if it is just a simple student checking account.
