Georgia AD Valorem tax

Can I deduct my new 2020 Ad Valorem tax on my two new cars in 2020? And I can were do I do this on the Federal tax form,

    Ad valorem tax can only be deducted as an itemized deduction on Schedule A if it is imposed on the value of the vehicle on an annual basis.  If the tax you paid was a one-time tax, it is not deductible.  

     

    The title ad valorem tax in Georgia is only imposed when the vehicle is titled.  It is not an annual tax.

     

    There are only certain states that charge an annual tax on a vehicle.  Georgia is not one of those.
