haven't had a mortgage for nearly 2 years now. for some reason i can't move on with my federal return because it's insisting I put in my lender's name. how to remove?

It's like I'm in a loop on this "federal review" section of my turbotax federal return. it wants me to input data from a 1098. We don't get one because our house is paid off. How do I get this out of my return so I can move on?

Get out of the review and delete the 1098(s) that were started in the return. Search for 1098 and use the Jump to 1098 link. You will be taken to your 1098-mortgage interest/lender summary screen. From that screen, use the delete button or trash can icon to remove all of the 1098s listed. Then go back through the review.
